Education minister to attend ICT, innovation forum in Moscow

TEHRAN – Iranian Education Minister Mohammad Bat'haei will attend the Ministerial Forum on “Global Dialogue on ICT and Education Innovation”, which will be held in Moscow on April 18 and 19.

Ministerial Forum “Global Dialogue on ICT and Education Innovation – Towards Sustainable Development Goal for Education (SDG 4)” is organized by the UNESCO Institute for Information Technologies in Education (UNESCO IITE) in partnership with the Ministry of Education and Science of the Russian Federation, Mehr reported. 
The Sustainable Development Goal 4 aims to “ensure inclusive and equitable quality education and promote life-long learning opportunities for all”. 
The participants of the Forum are representatives of the Ministries of Education, heads of leading universities, practitioners from academic institutions and teacher training and teacher’s professional development centers, as well as experts, educators and innovators in the field of ICT in education, coordinators of UNESCO networks, and representatives of NGOs, IGOs, and private IT companies.
Bat'haei will also take part at the Moscow International Education Fair, which will be held from April 18 to 21.
The Moscow International Education Fair (MIEF) is Russia's largest event in the field of education: an open forum and the country's biggest exhibition of new educational technology, infrastructure and creative solutions.
